Many companies in the industry use the dyno only for so-called for advertising use, which gives the customer a printed paper about the power and torque of the car. For us, the dyno is much more! For us, it is an invaluable tool for product development, without which it is impossible to achieve the perfect end result of the software. Since we want the engine's efficiency to improve over the entire rev range, it is important to see real-time measurement data and power/torque information from different rev ranges.
We use a German-made Maha LPS3000 4WD power dynamometer with a measurement accuracy of 2% up to +1000hp. Since some of the highly tuned cars produce maximum power at high load/speed, our power measurement facility is also built e.g. for ventilation, so that measuring these is not a problem. The ventilation of our facility consists of fans with a combined power of 63kW = 86Hp and together they can produce 90,000m 3 /h of air at a speed of 160km/h!
Maha LPS3000 4WD power dynamometer
The German Maha LPS3000 power dynamometer is equipped with electronic TELMA eddy current brakes. The mass of the rotating parts of the tester is very small, so their influence on the measurement results has been minimized (cf. the heavy mass roller). The TELMA eddy current brake enables continuous load without loss of braking power. The specialty of the stomach is the measurement of the power required by the power line. With a separate free measurement (clutch in bottom or gear in N position), the tester measures the power required by the vehicle's rotating masses. By measuring the wheel power from the roller surface and subtracting the measured rotating masses of the car from it, the tester is able to determine the real engine power. In addition, the tester measures air pressure, temperature and humidity. This information can be used to determine the engine power according to the standard (DIN, EEC, ISO, JIS or SAE).

Memo list for those coming to the dyno:
- The tires must be intact and have enough tread left. Measurement only with summer tires. If necessary, we change the tires before the measurement. We do not perform measurements on any kind of winter tires. Not even with friction tires! The same applies to racing tires semi-slicks or slicks. Remember to bring the keys for the lock bolts with you!
- The tire pressure must be in order. We can check it before the measurement.
- The angles of the bike must be in order.
- The car must be technically in 100% condition. There must be no liquid leaks of any kind! Maintenance performed on time in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The distribution head must be in appropriate condition or serviced. The amount of oil and other fluids must be sufficient/in good condition. The air filter must be in good condition or replaced with a new one.
- The tank is preferably full, but at least ½. If it is a gasoline engine, then 98E or similar high-octane fuel in the tank.
